Analysing Critical Thinking and Microlearning Based English Speaking Learning Materials for Students with Mild Intellectual Disabilities

The advancement of the microlearning method has been prevalent and facilitates pedagogical approach to develop students' critical thinking in 21st-century learning. However, research into English learning materials for speaking, particularly microlearning-based speaking mildly intellectually disabled students, is limited. Thus, this study reports existence scripts English-speaking 8th graders infused with skills by employing content analysis. This uses framework from Allela (2021) taxonomy Anderson & Krathwohl. (2001). following are procedures analysing students mild intellectual disabilities: 1) choosing descriptors; 2) current book using 3) categorizing descriptors that have not covered existing materials. findings revealed material fully descriptors.
